Hey, I'm Adam!
I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and my journey into 3D printing began during the COVID-19 pandemic. In early 2020, when I was just 9 years old, I saw a video online of a 3D-printed lion. I was immediately fascinated by the creativity and possibilities of this new technology. That same day, I convinced my mom to buy a Creality Ender 3 Pro.
When it arrived, it came unassembled in what felt like a thousand pieces. I convinced my older brother to help build it, and from the very first print, we saw the potential. If we could imagine something, we could create it. Whether it was a game controller holder or a fun decoration, seeing an idea become a real object never got old.
About a month later, my brother and I decided to open an Etsy shop. We had no business experience and were learning as we went. We made a few sales, but quickly realized we weren't fully prepared to run a business. My brother eventually lost interest, but I didn't. I bought his share of the business and the printer, becoming the sole owner of JustImagine3D.
As my passion for 3D printing grew, I continued expanding my collection of printers. I added a Qidi X-Pro for its dual-nozzle capabilities and later a Flashforge Adventurer 3. Each printer taught me something new and helped me improve my skills.
In August 2024, I discovered Bambu Lab and saw how they were changing the 3D printing world with incredible quality and easy multi-color printing. The Bambu Lab A1 cost around $550, and for over a month I worked on convincing my parents that it would be worth it. After what felt like forever, they finally agreed. When the printer arrived, I knew it would open up entirely new possibilities for what I could create.
At the time, 3D printing was still mostly a hobby. Then one day, while visiting Learning Express Toys in Omaha with my mom, I noticed they were selling 3D prints. I immediately saw an opportunity. Later that day, I called the store and asked if they would be interested in carrying my products. To my surprise, they invited me to bring samples the following Monday.
That opportunity changed everything.
Learning Express Omaha took a chance on a young entrepreneur, and I am incredibly grateful for their support. What started with a single printer in my home has grown into six printers running nearly nonstop, creating products for customers throughout Omaha and beyond.
JustImagine3D is proof that with creativity, determination, and a willingness to learn, a childhood hobby can grow into something much bigger.
